Crain, Christine

Ms.Crain's solution focused counselling style and assessment services work well for individual, youth, couple and family counselling. Christine has built a solid reputation during her twelve years of providing counselling services to the Fredericton, Oromocto and Woodstock areas. She also facilitates family and workplace mediation and provides trauma counselling.

Gordon, Alexander (Sandy)

Alexander (Sandy) Gordon has worked part-time at Family Enrichment and Counselling Serivce Fredericton for over 13 years.  As Clinical Director he supervises the therapists and the interns.  Sandy also provides individual, couples, and family counselling.  He specializes in men's anger management and domestic violence issues. 

Before Family Enrichment, Sandy worked for 26 years with the provincial government in child welfare programs, primarily child protection.

Sandy is committed to helping clients make sense of their lives and find positive solutions to situations of personal conflict and discouragement.

Hartford, Anne Marie

Anne Marie was appointed as the Executive Director of Family Enrichment and Counselling Service Fredericton on April 26, 2010.  Although not a native of Fredericton, she has lived here for close to 20 years. 

Anne Marie has worked with several not-for-profit organizations; Canadian Mental Health Association, Easter Seals March of Dimes, Nurturing Ourselves Women's Conference, and Meals on Wheels of Fredericton. Her work with private industry has spanned from working with the investment firm Levesque, Beaubien Inc. in Toronto to being the faciliator of the Personal & Professional Development Program with JEM Training, a private school in Fredericton.

Anne Marie has a Master's degree in Adult Education from UNB and a Bachelor of Arts degree with emphasis on Psychology, Sociology, and Gerontology from STU.

She has five daughters, four sons, and six grandchildren including biological, step, and in-laws!

Jarvis, Heather

Heather Jarvis has been with Family Enrichment and Counselling Service Fredericton since November 2009. Heather graduated from Dalhouse University with a BSW. She specializes in counselling children, families, and individuals with a variety of issues. Grief counselling is a particular area of interest for Heather.

MacPhee, Kathleen

Kathleen MacPhee BA(psych), BSW, RSW

Providing counselling to youth, adults, and families for relationship issues, self esteem, anxiety, depression, and trauma, Kathleen enjoys collaborating with her clients to locate and develop their own inner resources. At times, this can include exploring the clients' creativity (particularly writing and music) as a means toward finding solutions or coping with life's difficulties.

Kathleen credits her clients, co-workers, and agency as a whole for making Family Enrichment "the best job I've ever had".

Kathleen is a mom to two children, ages 16 and 9.

Janet has extensive experience working with families and teaching in the community.  She has worked with the Department of Social Development and Mental Health Services and is currently teaching with St. Thomas University and UNB Extended Learning.

Wilkins, Barbara

Barbara's professional career has for the most part been with Community Mental Health in Woodstock and Fredericton as a clinical social worker, supervisor, and director.  Most recently Barbara worked as a supervisor of social workers working with children in care and the provincial adoption program with the NB Department of Social Development.

In private practice now, Barbara provides services to clients of Family Enrichment in the Woodstock area.  She specializes in counselling adults and families.
